There are thousands of events take place in communities all across the country, showing people how the internet can make life easier, cheaper, healthier and more fun! Certainly this is a celebration not to be missed. Our experts in the community are busy setting up events to help people to get online and use technology. Description: AgeUK Suffolk and Lxpert are offering FREE computer advice and support to older people. Those browsing at the AgeUK shop in Ipswich Town Centre will have an opportunity to speak to one of Lxpert's volunteering local IT experts about any computer, Internet or technology-related issues they might have - from getting advice, through learning digital skills, to technical support. Description: There will be a talk about how to get onto WiFi, what apps are and how to use them and also how to use a search engine to find out information. You are invited to bring your own device for help, hints and tips. We will also offer a question and answer session. The Library has Free Wifi for all that attend. Description: Free, fun and interactive class to demystify the Internet with drop in sessions on "all things online" before and after the class. Suitable for absolute beginners and technophobes friendly. Lead by Kennedy, Computer Tutor and consultant from Lxpert. Tea / coffee provided.
